Services Conducted
The Tokyo Fire Department has paramedics in its ambulance units to conduct swift life support for citizens in need of varied emergency medical services in the present aging society. Effective rescue/first-aid activities (fire quick aid) are conducted by a pumper-ambulance combination unit, saving a lot more patients. In the Command and Control Center, medical advisers (doctors) working in shifts help EMS members achieve highly efficient lifesaving jobs by giving medical advice.

Education Given

The Tokyo Fire Department promotes public first-aid treatment education in cooperation with the Tokyo Emergency First-aid Association. The education helps people raise their abilities to perform desired first aid and save a lot of victims on the street.
