| The Maintenance Shop inspects and maintains fire apparatus and
every kind of fire equipment so that they will continue to function in a proper
manner. Last year, the inspection/maintenance jobs undertaken by the Maintenance Shop reached 12,937 in number, and there were 86,269 air cylinders refilled.
